The Spring Journey

Despite the immense challenges of the pandemic, many of us also encountered something holy awakening within us… a longing, a pacing that’s much slower, a healing crisis, a vision for what we want to be, do, or create. We don’t want any of us to lose what was gained during that intense passage. The Wild Becoming Sanctuary offers you a place where you can keep coming back to that vision— whether it’s a need for consistent self-tending, creative well-being or a committed exploration and acceptance of your true power and purpose.

From sacred time spent in nature, to journaling rituals, seasonal ceremonies, spells & charms, poetry, divination & sacred council— together we’re remembering other ways of knowing that foster wisdom & connection beyond what the thinking mind is designed for or even capable of. These ancient, highly sense-oriented practices, when wisely shaped to assist the modern soul, are essential in helping us heal, evolve and create life-affirming culture together. We believe these practices require no special talent outside of being a soul-seeking human. You may be wishing to deepen established skills or discover them for the first time. Either way, Wild Becoming welcomes those who are inspired & called to hone such skills.

For most of us, there is often immense tension between the inner realms where our spiritual practice, art, and deeper callings live and the day-to-day obligations of work, family and community. We’ve been well-trained in “self-improvement,” often turning away from the most tender parts of ourselves or discounted our belief in the magic of life. But life’s pain, enchantments and shadows are all holy ground.

In this work, your everyday life is the raw material for your Soul Dates so that, overtime, there is increasing harmony between your inner life and your outer, lived life. We invite you to look upon everything and everyone, including and beyond the human world, as The Sacred Other.

We have so much medicine for each other. When we create an atmosphere of dignity and magic, we naturally mirror for each other the power, Beauty and untended pain we struggle to recognize in ourselves. Our path is ours alone to walk, but when we make time to meander close to others’ paths for a while, we are so deeply fed. Then, we continue on fortified by community. The Wild Becoming Sanctuary is not concerned with “what you do” or the usual “niceties.” Here, we side-step chitchat and welcome the deeper story of who you are to emerge. We invite you to witness yourself and others trying on their own truth, adorning ourselves with authentic expression and re-membering who we truly are.

Enchantment lay at the center of our prayers for this space. We feel it is one of the key, overarching medicines needed at this time on the planet. Nothing excites us more than being a guide to those seeking to fall deeply in love— with their lives, the Earth and each other. We welcome all the rule-breaking, tenderness, spontaneous expression, dissolution and radical honesty that come with rewilding ourselves and our culture.
